Most classic car hire in New Zealand is either self drive, which insurers are increasingly reluctant about, or static display hire where the car turns up and sits there.
Ours is neither. Every car comes with a driver, which means you get to actually go somewhere in it, and you get to enjoy the ride rather than worry about a crash gearbox and no power steering.

Why chauffeur driven rather than self drive
A sixty year old car does not drive like a modern one. Drum brakes, heavy unassisted steering, a gearbox with its own opinions and no electronic safety net of any kind. Enthusiasts love that. First timers usually do not, particularly on an unfamiliar road on the wrong side.
Handing the driving over also means everyone in the car gets to enjoy it, nobody has to stay off the champagne, and there is no conversation about who is responsible if something goes wrong.
How pricing works
Wedding and occasion hire is charged hourly, from $150 to $200 depending on the car, with a two hour minimum. Scenic tours are charged per tour rather than per hour and run from $695 for a half day including lunch.
There is no travel surcharge inside Hamilton. For work further afield, tell us the destination and we will confirm before you commit.
